What is going on? This is unusual and fascinating as I find myself in the ocean swimming amongst all types of sea creatures and aquatic life. Strangely, I realize I can breathe under water and swim freely as if I were a fish. As I look around, I come to the realization that life underwater is just as beautiful and ever flowing as life on land. As I look closer, I see the salty sea floor full of sand and sea life remains. The battle for survival is just as great at the deepest parts of the world. There are yellowish green sponges resting peacefully like flowers basking in the sun. I see a jellyfish gliding towards me as if it were Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. It seems to be glowing yellowish white with long tentacles flowing ever so gracefully. This jellyfish looks as though it has no where to go but moving as if it hadn't a care in the world. It's difficult to imagine something so beautiful can be so deadly.
The water is so cold and I can't help but wonder, how do these creatures survive in such temperatures? Suddenly, I am startled by a school of fish barreling toward me. Each individual fish is so small, but together as a school they look tremendous. They are a colorful silvery red, glimmering with hints of silver. As they swim close to me, I quickly reach out in an attempt to capture an unlucky fish. But it slips out of my hand. It feels like something covered in slim. Behind the school of fish I see a large ugly fish giving chase looking for his next meal. I become worried for myself as it looks to be a shark. But the teeth are too small.
This entire experience makes me think, life underwater is very dangerous. Even the most beautiful creature can kill you. I continue swimming and explore the ocean. Who knows what else I may find?
